The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (Ministry of Internal Affairs) and the State personal data protection agency  under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (DPA) announce the creation of an interdepartmental working group to improve mechanisms for the protection and processing of personal data.

This initiative implies not only active cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the DPA Inspectorate, but also involves the implementation of a number of specific tasks:

     - Monitoring and analysis of the state of the field of personal data protection and cybersecurity.

     - Prompt response to incidents in the field of personal data protection and cybersecurity.

     - Joint investigation of offenses in the field of personal data processing and cyber attacks.

     - Organization of joint events to prevent violations in this area.

The creation of a group will make it possible to more effectively combat threats and risks in the digital environment, and will also increase the level of public trust in government agencies in ensuring the security of personal data.

The heads of departments express confidence that joint efforts will lead to improved security of the information space and protection of citizens' rights.
